Announcements
Long overdue correction & apology.
Addressing a previous announcement made within the support discord server, and stating Florality's true stances on endogenic systems.

Good evening Florality userbase.
This message doubles as both an apology and a re-assessment of a previous statement, both of which are long-overdue and have been kept from the community for far too long. This is specifically in regards to the previous “anti endogenic systems” announcement our previous PR made on 22/05/2026.
We understand the perspective that it looks like we've been all over the place with our stance on them. Which, in part, is true—not in the way one might think. A lot of these decisions and statements were made prior to the separation of the social and support aspects of Florality. And, almost, if not all, statements were made without the knowledge of the lower-ranking staff (including Venti and I at the time)’s knowledge, or without prior authorization from Mavros (Site head) or Luna (the Developer).
During those moments, announcements would be made and sprung onto the staff, which we were forced to mediate the user base even though we had no idea the statement was going to be made in the first place. For the endogenics statement, this was equally as true—it was a declaration of the company's stance that Luna & Mavros (both majorly unavailable that day) never approved of the wording used, much less the announcement itself. This brought upon consequences that have damaged Florality's reputation in a way that doesn't reflect the company's true ideals.
Which is why, today will be the final proclamation in relation to endogenics and our stance on them using the app, and what we've done beyond this new announcement to try and rectify our mistake. This announcement will be made with far more communication amongst the staff/moderation to reach a solidified opinion that best represents us.
Ark, the previous head moderator, who contributed to the announcement and pushed it despite Mavros’ disapproval, left Florality some time ago before the social/support split. As for our previous PR head, they have been demoted back down to a moderator and no longer handle announcements of this nature. Instead, Mavros, Venti and I, act as public relations for the time being.
Florality disagrees with the verbiage used by both users to describe endogenic systems as delusional or psychotic, and we would like to apologize for such an event occurring in the first place. We're sorry. There isn't much of an excuse, and we won't give you any.
Venti, Mavros, and I experience frequent delusions and/or periods of psychosis; we understand just how harmful and offensive saying anything of that nature is. So rest assured, I'm not making an apology here just to clear our name, all three of us were offended by the previous announcement as well. It never sat right with us, and leaving it unanswered for so long brought all of us discomfort, but a statement of this nature needs to be planned thoroughly. Since Mavros or Venti couldn’t write the announcement, I’m writing it.
I digress, regardless of who made that statement or why, Florality should have never made that announcement. Anything said above isn't Florality trying to excuse its behavior, but rather give insight on how bad the communication amongst the staff used to be—we're still working on trying to improve it now that new heads are in place. Florality's team is constantly trying to improve itself, so we hope to have your patience as we struggle through the stages of improvement.
Moving on, you're all deserving of our official stance on endogenic systems: we're endo-neutral. Florality has always said, at least internally, that the company itself, and the app, have no stance on endogenic systems.
“But why does your guys’ opinion seem to change so much/where did the anti-endo part come from?”
There was a lot of miscommunication due to the previous head moderator and other ex-staff. Florality was never against endogenic systems, but most, but not all, of the STAFF were. While the staff do make up the company, our opinion doesn't reflect who Florality or our support is open to. The anti-endogenic stance was originally intended for social aspects by our ex-head moderator Ark. While moderating, Ark had the issue of constantly trying to appease a majority in the support server, catering to anti-endos, while moderating it primarily as a social one.
While Jamie was the one to publish the announcement, Ark was the one who pushed the statement out for the company, despite Mavros’ disagreements on the wording and refused to change it.
This is in part why the split of these aspects was so heavily needed by the staff team and why moderators argued for it within the ranks. However, in the end, Ark left the team just before we officially split the servers; an older server, the inspiration server, had to be reworked to be the new social server. Venti and I moderate differently from Ark, thus our approaches and stances are different from its. We occasionally take on more than what Ark's previous position and duties, and communicate with Mavros and Luna first, then the rest of our team before doing anything major.
“Why did it take so long to release this statement?”
With the stress of new heads being promoted shortly after Ark leaving (as in Venti and I), the server opening, amongst other things, we were disorganized and stressed for quite a while behind the scenes. Moderator rules had to be officially laid out as there was no training for moderators previously, server rules had to be completely reworked (which still aren't complete in our opinion), and we wanted to open moderator applications.
There was a lot going on for the heads in general, especially Mavros (who would’ve been the other person besides Venti to make this announcement), and a majority of the time it felt incredibly stressful to work on certain aspects of Florality's team so consistently. We also have hobbies and work outside of our volunteer work, so it wasn't something we had, or wanted to, pay attention to constantly. Hence, the delay.
The stability of the staff team is something we're still working on.
“Can endogenic systems still use the app/join the social server?”
Yes. We will never stop you from using our app: legally and morally, we can't as it's an invasion of your privacy and simply put, it isn't our business to know if you are an endogenic or not. Even if we could legally, we would never stop you from using Florality nor would we breach your privacy. Florality is an accessibility tool with its focus on systems, regardless of personal beliefs.
As for the social server, yes, you can still join. You will be moderated like any other member. However, you must be aware that a majority of members within the social server are presumably anti-endo. We don't condone harassment, but we do allow for personal boundaries to be enforced: if you're blocked, there's nothing we can do for you unless they're violating our rules.
“Will any more statements about endogenic systems be made after this?”
Hopefully not, while we don't intend to make any more regarding whether or not endogenic systems can remain using the app, a different situation might arise that'll cause us to address something else. Our stance wouldn’t change regardless, you'll always be welcomed to use our app no matter the label you use.
The Florality team wishes you a good day.
